Hi, my name is Dr. Matthew S. Demey, and I am the Owner and a Veterinarian at Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital, Inc. I am passionate about providing the highest standard of surgical and medical care to my patients and have spent over two decades building lasting relationships with the families we serve.
Personal Hobbies and Interests
Outside of work, my son Cole, our dog Bill, and I love taking full advantage of everything Aurora, CO has to offer in the great outdoors.
Education
I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.
Professional Background
Over the years I have developed a special interest in surgery, particularly laparoscopy and orthopaedics. I am a certified TPLO surgeon, performing this procedure regularly for dogs with torn ACLs, and have extensive experience with fracture repair and advanced soft tissue surgery.
Beyond clinical practice, I volunteer my time providing veterinary care for various raptor species with the Raptor Education Foundation. I also recently volunteered at Amici Cannis Veterinary Hospital in Cotacachi, Ecuador, providing hands-on orthopaedic training to local veterinarians to help expand access to limb-saving surgical care for the local community and surrounding indigenous villages.
Work History
I joined Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital, Inc immediately after graduating in 2000. In 2004, I became a partner in the business, and in 2017 I became the sole owner as the founding partners retired.
