The Veterinary Practice Director will lead all non-clinical operations, driving excellence in people, processes, and performance. Partnering closely with the owner, Dr. Matt Demey, this leader will translate ideas into execution and serve as the connective tissue between operations, finance, technology, and staff culture.

Essential skills include strategic thinking, financial acumen, communication and a positive attitude.

Education and Experience Required:

  • 7–10 years of operational or practice management experience (veterinary, medical or multi-site service environment)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting and project management
  • Demonstrated experience with technology and systems implementation

Physical Requirements:

  • Capable of the following physical movements: standing, sitting, walking, stooping or kneeling, reaching with arms, talking and hearing
  • Ability to lift or carry at least 40 pounds without assistance
  • Vision close and normal, color vision and depth perception

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Respect for all team members and patients

Compensation:

  • $135,000 – $165,000 annual salary (DOE)
