Personal Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, I enjoy creative and relaxing activities like painting and coloring. I also love spending time reading, watching TV, and being with my family.

At home, I share my life with my dog Mr. Bear, a two-year-old Staffordshire/Pit mix who is equal parts chaos and cuddles. He keeps life fun and always knows how to brighten my day.

Favorite Part of My Job

My favorite part of my job is interacting with pet owners and seeing how much love they have for their animals. Even during stressful emergency situations, the bond people share with their pets is incredible. Being able to support clients during those moments and help them feel cared for and understood is something I find very meaningful.

Why I Chose This Profession

I chose this profession because I’ve always wanted to help animals. Before joining the veterinary field, I worked in human healthcare supporting people with disabilities, including assisting with physical therapy and medications. That experience taught me how meaningful it is to care for others, but I ultimately decided to transition into veterinary medicine so I could focus on helping animals while continuing to learn more about their care and well-being.

Professional Background

My background in healthcare includes training in both physical therapy and pharmacy technology, which gave me valuable experience supporting patients, managing medications, and communicating with clients during stressful situations. Those skills translate well to veterinary medicine, where compassion, attention to detail, and clear communication are essential.

Working at Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital has also given me the opportunity to learn more about veterinary medicine firsthand. I enjoy observing procedures such as soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries and learning how our doctors approach different medical cases.
